Pengu Swim School, is looking for energetic, friendly, and professional Deck Managers, Lifeguards & Swim Instructors who enjoy working with children. Full-time and part-time positions available. Red Cross certification is a plus, however, we also offer training.

Why Perpetual Swim Lessons

The benefits of perpetual swimming lessons are well documented. The Washington Times reported on an Australian study conducted by the Griffith Institute for Educational Research that found “that the younger the child began swimming lessons and the longer they continued, the greater the benefits. Benefits come not only in the form of reaching physical developmental milestones early, but also those involving language and mathematics.”

USA Swimming quotes a Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine 2009 study which says that “Participation in formal swimming lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by 88 percent among children aged one to four years.”

Pengu Swim School is getting the plaster for the pool installed!

The HVAC system problem is solved and we can continue with construction. They told us that by the end of next week they should have the system up and running. Right after that PENGU Swim School will get water in the pool and we can install asphalt and landscaping

What is PENGU Swim School?

  Welcome to PENGU! We are proud to offer our community a state of the art indoor aquatic facility serving children from the age of 4 months.

As parents of three children, we believe in the importance of teaching kids about water safety, and helping them to become confident swimmers.   Also as parents, we know we have to take it into our hands to make sure our kids know how to behave, and survive, in a water environment.  We want to assist you in doing so, by giving our area an indoor, year round facility, where children can learn these important skills, while enjoying the experience at the same time. 
We have a real passion for PENGU, and from our experience as business owners, we know how important it is to get the concept right.  For the past two years, we traveled to various US and European cities to look at the best swim schools and aquatic facilities.  By combining our extensive research with an excellent design team, we were able to incorporate the best practices of both design, and methodology.  We are also proud members of the United States Swimming School Association and Safer3.
We are very excited to offer our community PENGU Swim School.

Our Facility: 

PENGU Swim School’s 7,860 square foot newly constructed indoor pool facility will have the following:

• A separate climate controlled viewing gallery for parents
• A state of the art water purification system
• Humidity control in the pool area with a water temperature of approximately 90 degrees
• Sailing Beach theme décor
• Snack bar offering healthy snacks, “goodies”, and a variety of drinks for busy parents on the go
• Individual changing rooms with diaper changing stations
• Dedicated play area for siblings and students to use while they wait
• Blow dryer station for after lessons
• Swim suit dryer
• “PENGU store” offering a variety of goggles, swimsuits and aquatic toys
• Free WiFi

• Birthday parties which include use of pool, and during the summer months the use of an outdoor connected play area.

PENGU Swim School offers year round perpetual lessons. This means that you don’t sign up for single sessions, but continue on a month- to- month basis, with an option to cancel with a 30 day notice at any time. The classes are weekly for thirty minutes each.  As a parent, you give us your choice of day and time, and we do our best to provide you with your schedule preference. This spot is yours until you decide to withdraw from lessons.

PENGU also has Open Swim Time for everybody to come who wants to practice with their child what they learned in class, or just to have some fun splashing around. You will find the times for Open Swim Time on our schedule.

On Saturday and Sunday you will also have the possibility to book a birthday party for your child at PENGU. Your guests will have lots of fun splashing around with the PENGU water toys, and if weather permits, you can also take advantage of outdoor play area with artificial turf.

Once you have completed all levels of PENGU Swim School training, you can join our PENGU Swim Team, where you get introduced into the word of competitive swimming in a fun environment.

What is PENGU Swim School?
